1. Malai Chaap

Chaap is made of soya and is widely loved by vegetarians of India. Malai chaap is a dish with roasted chaap marinated in malai or cream with a lot of Indian herbs and spices. It is usually served with Rumali roti along with an onion salad. It is the perfect replacement for Malai Chicken tikka.

2. Achari Chaap

Achari Chaap is marinated in tikka masala, and it is also served with Rumali roti or eaten as it is. It tastes very similar to chicken tikka. It has a lot of flavours that make it a total delight for vegetarians.

3. Tofu Salad

If you are a health freak and swear by your salads, but you’re looking for a vegan option, definitely go for a tofu salad. It is loaded with proteins and is a perfect alternative for chicken and cottage cheese. It tastes very delightful.

4. Kurkure/Crispy Chaap or Paneer

These are an adapted vegetarian version of the infamous KFC chicken or crispy fried chicken. These are prepared in a similar way as their chicken counterparts and taste exactly the same. Have them with barbeque sauce or salsa, and you will love it.

5. Mushroom Sandwiches/Burgers

8. Tempeh balls
