The blending makes the pieces very small, which the oldies can quickly eat in the house or even toddlers and other members with weak teeth.

Soak the black chana for 8 hours in a large bowl, add the tamarind pulp, turmeric powder and asafoetida, salt and bring to a boil. Once it is boiling, add the ground powder and cook again till it thickens. After it reduces to half, add soaked black chana dal and mix them well. Fill it in a glass and set it aside. Add tempered mustard seeds and curry leaves to the pulikachal. You can add this to your leftovers and feast!

Cut your bread leftovers into four pieces, and stuff it with a baked potato. Bake the potatoes, add spices like paprika and turmeric, green chillies and onion powder or chopped onions and stuff the bread with it. Make a batter by adding a pinch of salt and water to chana dal flour. Dip the stuffed bread into it and deep fry it till it looks brown. Serve with ketchup, shev and sambar or coriander coconut chutney.
Cut the leftovers into a rectangle shape and fry them in a pan or bake them after applying butter or oil over them. In a blender, blend dry red chillies, salt, pepper, chilli powder and oil. Or make a mayo mix by adding coriander or chives, along with sour cream.

In a separate bowl, mix cream cheese, vanilla essence, cocoa powder or melted chocolate. Top it upon the bread pieces and top it with dried cranberries, raspberries and blueberries; layer it like this till the top.
